Marlow House

This cottage is conveniently located on a quiet side street off Swinton Avenue and NE Second Avenue, the two main roads that run down to Atlantic Avenue. It is a pleasant walk to the supermarket, the fish store, the bakery, the fresh produce store and restaurants in Pineapple Grove and Atlantic Avenue area. I played tennis at the Delray Tennis Center, less than a mile away every morning. The beach is walkable in 20 minutes.
The house is well furnished and appealing. There are 3 full bathrooms in excellent condition and with fresh styling. The kitchen is fabulous and well appointed with modern appliances. We made dinner every night for friends in the area and ate in the very large screened porch which has a generous lounge seating area and a long dining table. We also loved sitting in the screen porch every morning with our coffee and newspapers.
The highlight of this property is the backyard, which is spectacular. It is private and enclosed by hedges, there is no noise since the house is on a side street, there are plenty of vignettes to sit and lounge around, from the firepit area to the terrace outside the primary bedroom to the pool terrace to open lawn areas. The large jacuzzi that is perched above the pool can fit 8-10 people and was another plus. We used it every night and enjoyed relaxing in it at the end of each day.
This property is a winner and our family was very happy with the amenities, the location and the quality of the house. We highly recommend this 3 bedroom, 3 bath room house for families who wish to explore the Delray area! It is a great value compared to renting to 3 hotel rooms!

This house was fantastic. Fab location. 15 Minute walk to East Atlantic Ave. 25 minute walk to the beach. 5 minute walk to Pineapple Grove. House was great. Beautiful pool and patio. Screened in porch for coffee time every morning. Gas grilled a few times . Kitchen pretty well stocked if you like to cook. 5 mins from supermarket and CVS. House manager Yvonne was great. We ran out of printer ink and she appeared with new cartridges in 10 mins. Oh also the yard has beautiful Palm trees and is completely private. I would definitely go back!:)

First, my family walked in to an immaculately clean house. We were very impressed with how much thought went into every aspect of the house - both a coffee pot and a french press for morning coffee, laundry detergent, foil for baking. Lots of little touches that many other vacation rentals don't think to provide. But the crem de la crem is the backyard. Huge. Pool is big, spa is big, there's a firepit, and the screened in porch is another living room to enjoy the outdoors with out any bugs. I can't say enough about how great this home is. My family will definitely be staying here again!

Rented this house for a long weekend with some friends as we were in the area watching our daughters play in a volleyball tournament. We chose this over staying in a hotel and are so glad we did! Great house with everything we needed. Pool and hot tub were added bonus!

The home was even better than the pictures since more of the landscaping has been completed. The backyard is a true oasis and the home had absolutely everything you could think of. Our family of 5 enjoyed a recent stay at the Marlow House and were supremely impressed with the decor, layout, comfort and cleanliness of this delightful home. The recent renovations are modern, attractive and blend well with the large screened porch and lush, lard fenced in yard. The pool and spa were trimmed in a beautiful teal tile and were refreshing to enjoy and lovely to gaze upon. We would definitely return to this pet friendly rental home and highly recommend Marlow House.

This old house has been recently completely remodeled with high end appointments. It is bright, clean, and well located. Everything we could think of was there for us. With three bedrooms and 3 full baths, it was basically three suites - two king, one queen. One of our family members thought the pool could have been a little cleaner. Highly recommended.

We stayed at Marlow House for a week in September and absolutely loved it! We were seeking quiet and this property delivered! The "impact" windows made for such great sleep. The screened-in porch was delightful to sit in when it rained and the house itself is just as it appears in the photos. The property manager Yvonne was THE BEST! She was quick to respond to any questions we had and told us about a few restaurants off the beaten path that we wouldn't have otherwise known about! We've been to Delray many times and would rent this house again for sure! Just wish that the rates and the add-on fees (insurance, cleaning fee, etc.) were a lower.

The home was very clean and a lot of the furniture was new. We had a few issues with appliances etc. but the property manager Yvonne was on top of every little detail that we complained about. She acted promptly on anything we needed. She became a family member to us. Our only complaint would be the screened in porch area will need some mildew resistant pillows to withstand the weather. Overall it was a fabulous home and we would rent it again.

Feels like home
My sisters and I gathered in Delray for my dad's 90th birthday. The house was wonderful and the perfect home base for this intimate celebration. The hosts really have thought of everything and it was all so well organized, so we felt right at home. Great set up with three relatively equitable bedrooms, so there was no fighting over rooms:) Beds were all super comfy. The pool was great, but it was the fabulous lanai that we most enjoyed. Great proximity to the beach and downtown Delray. We will be back!

Excellent 2 BR one bath redone small home close to downtown DelRay. about 0.6 miles to Atlantic Ave
quiet street just off NW 6th St and second Ave.
All new Ikea kitchen.
Excellent internet and two largest TV's with Netflix and cable.
Washer dryer in garage.
Gas BBQ in yard.
Beach chairs in garage,
Small bathroom.
EXCELLENt management. Yvonne is just super responsive if there are any issues.
Now... if only the weather had been better !!

The screened porch and pool area at Marlow are like Shangra La and the lush plantings and mockingbirds everywhere make this an idyllic retreat to relax and enjoy the warm sun ! My husband and I booked a week in April at the Marlow House. We were very happy to find the home and accommodations as they were stated in the description...place was clean, updated and walking distance to Atlantic Avenue. Day two into our stay, we arrived to find that two pieces of jewelry were missing. The items, although not the most expensive pieces, were invaluable. A gold cross, one that I have worn since my son's passing was taken, along with a pair of earrings. We contacted the manager and filed a police report. The officer confirmed that this was not a break in, but perhaps an inside job since there were no signs of forced entry. All doors and windows were locked. The rental was equipped with a Ring doorbell, however, the system was surprisingly "unavailable" and management could not access who entered the home. A neighbor confirmed the following day that two cars entered the driveway for a quick visit. After two months of working with the managing company Vacation Living, the issue was not resolved. An insurance claim was denied due to the pieces being "misplaced" which is incomprehensible, we are certain that this is not the case since the pieces held such a sentimental value. We were looking for the management company to simply make us whole for the cost of the two items. We are now questioning the whole security of this home. Is this happening routinely? Are small pieces of jewelry/items missing from past clients? We booked the home initially and where traveling with our two french bulldogs but had a change in plans and did not take them. We question, whoever entered this home, where they after the dogs? Who has keys to the rental? Perhaps a past client? We felt strongly to convey this to potential renters in hopes that you enter this rental with CAUTION. We have gotten no answers, just apologies, and feel completely violated. We will be taking this issue to the Better Business Bureau.

Overall a great experience. Very nice accommodation, very clean, well stocked and great linens. Local property manager was very efficient and respectful. The only problem we had was the construction noise we experienced during the week as a home is being built on the lot behind The Marlow House. It was very disruptive to our privacy and enjoyment of the pool so we had to relocate to the beach.

This was our second time staying at the Marlow House. The vibe and layout of the property invites poolside relaxation and the return to center your normal weekend struggles to provide. A quick walk has you in the heart of Atlantic Ave and Pineapple Grove. Basically everything is close. We rent a car every time and wonder why...every time. The property manager is friendly and helpful. We will return again !

Spent a week at the Marlow House with my husband, daughter, son-in-law and two young grandchildren and had a wonderful time. We're very familiar with Delray Beach but have always stayed in an ocean-front hotel. I can't say enough nice things about the house, which is located in a quiet neighborhood not far from Pineapple Grove. It was spotless; furnishings and decor were thoughtful and tasteful. We walked to Atlantic Avenue for dinner every day and sometimes for breakfast, but the house has a fully stocked kitchen plus outdoor grill for those who prefer to cook. The beach was a quick (less than five minutes) drive. Very nice pool with shallow entry ledge for children to sit and play or adults to sit in the shade of an umbrella with their feet in the water. The lovely private backyard full of tropical plants and plenty of shaded areas was also appreciated. Communication with Vacation Living was simple. I honestly have nothing negative to say about the Marlow House. Thank you for a wonderful vacation experience. We will definitely be back.

This was a smaller rental than we usually choose but it lived large and had plenty of space. The screened porch was generous in size and functioned like an outdoor living and dining room. The kitchen was well equipped and had a nice layout. It was a lovely bright and nicely appointed home.

The house is in a perfect location, great neighborhood just steps from the pineapple district. walk to restaurants, bars, shopping and (slightly longer) to the beach. WELL STOCKED with everything you need in the kitchen. not a rental that is stripped bare - you have full set of utensils, pots, pans, dishes, and salt/pepper olive oil, etc. foil, plastic wrap, 's really set up so you can come stay for a few days without having to "provision" a house that you are going to leave.
The backyard is a very lush oasis with mature growth, fantastic pool/spa area with seating IN the pool for a super relaxing spot. The outdoor screened in dining/living area is a huge plus.

We rented Marlow House for a business trip and absolutely loved it. The management was extremely helpful, the house is in mint condition, super clean, is situated on a well-maintained private lot/yard, has everything you need, and is convenient to downtown Delray Beach. We walked almost everywhere. The French Bakery in the neighborhood has amazing baked goods and coffee. The lanai in back is my favorite room of the house--so peaceful. Thanks for a wonderful trip!

My sister and I came to Delray to meet up with two other friends, one of whom lives locally. We are all travelers, and have experienced a wide range of accommodations, and we were all impressed at the furnishings, the privacy, and the comfort of this house. The location was so close to dining in Pineapple Grove and grocery stores that it was easy to walk over. We loved hanging out in the evening on the big screened porch. When we asked for a coffee bean grinder we got immediate attention by the owners and had our grinder within 45 min. Great place and we'll definitely be back.

Excellent. No hairdryer upon arrival and had to call for one. TV in bedroom not operating. Apart from that the stay was excellent. Very clean and well equipped and the management professional was most helpful. Not as close to the beach as we would have liked and certainly not within walking distance but driving to the beach was fine. Beautiful backyard. Lovely bedrooms with exceptionally comfortable beds we wanted to take them with us!

Great location. We had plumbing issues and were forced to sleep elsewhere for one night, but it was promptly repaired and were issued a pro rated refund. All in all I'd rate it 8.5 out of ten. I would rent it again.

We had a wonderful stay at Marlow House. The house is in a great location- an easy walk to restaurants and the tennis center. The house has a great large screen porch that we spent most of our time in. And the pool was fantastic. The yard is big, with nice landscaping and feels very private. The bedrooms were very comfortable, and the living space was very cozy. The management team was very responsive, reached out to welcome us, made themselves available for any questions or help. We have been regular visitors to Delray over the past several years, and we would definitely consider renting this property again. It's a real gem! Thank you for a wonderful stay!

We had the absolute BEST vacation staying at the Marlow house. The accommodations were perfect for our family. The rooms were spacious and beautifully decorated. The house was laid out so well. We loved being able to go from the pool right into our shower. The pool and backyard were incredible! Our kids never wanted to leave to go to the beach because they loved our pool so much! The house owners truly thought of everything you could possibly need or want. And Yvonne was so wonderful and responsive! We needed something in the kitchen on our first night and she insisted on hand delivering to us. She was so kind and also have us great tips on where to dine. We have nothing but wonderful things to say about this property and already planning to book it again next year!

It was the best house we have ever stayed while in Delray Beach. It accommodated us in every way. It was a very well thought out house. Stayed here with 3 generations to visit my dad for his 95th. The house was well appointed and very comfortable. Every BR has its own bath. Loved the pool access from the bathrooms. The pool and yard are beautiful. Although it was a bit too steamy to use the beautiful screened in porch during the day in June it was lovely at night. Our contact was extremely attentive and made our stay perfect. The goodie basket upon arrival was a nice touch. Would stay here again.
