Villa Ventanas

It was a girls weekend we will never forget. Pictures don't do it justice.Every corner of the property was absolutely magical and breathtaking.The view from the whirlpool and swimming pool was unbelievable. We didn't want to leave. I can't wait to come back!!!

We had a wonderful time in Villa Ventanas and would highly recommend this home to other travelers! The homeowner and property managers were all very kind and extremely helpful with anything we asked. The grounds are absolutely amazing....like nothing we've ever seen before! My son said that this house reminded him of a book where the kids are on an amazing adventure in a mystical place. The pictures do not do this place it's proper justice.....and I think the pictures are fantastic!! The real thing is just so much more fantastic that it can't all be captured in pictures!
Keep in mind there are several steps up and down into the different rooms so it may not be the best fit for young children, elderly or mobility restricted people, but for our family of 4 and our fur babies, it was absolutely terrific! Also, we drive a Suburban and it wouldn't fit in the driveway so we just parallel parked just in front of the driveway. I would imagine that it could be a bit tricky if we happened to have 2 or more cars in our group. However, the house is more than worth it to figure that detail out!
The location is great - so close to restaurants, grocery stores, and awesome shopping centers right there in Glendale. And the freeway access is also super close for when we wanted to venture a little further. We hope to come back for another visit soon! Thank you so much for letting us stay!!

This is a beautiful property, with an incredible backyard infinity pool, hot tub and stunning views of downtown LA. The bedrooms and bathrooms were spacious and kitchen fully stocked with everything you need for a family (we were 5 people). A bit of a drive to the coast but close to many cool towns and activities like Griffith Park and Glendale had lots of options for restaurants and shopping. Also easy to get an Uber from here if you don’t want to drive. Hosts were incredibly helpful and easy to communicate with for arrival instructions and any follow ups. Highly recommend this property!

One of my most favorite places I have ever stayed and I'm already trying to come up with a reason to return!! Everything about it was gorgeous and so comfortable. There were 8 of us in CA for a Girls Weekend. Easy to get around with Uber. Fun to walk for coffee in the morning. Don't miss the restaurants and bars at Americana in Glendale. Make sure you have lots of time to relax in or by the pool and hot tub and enjoy the beautiful sitting areas in the house.

My family just completed our wonderful stay. We traveled to the area to be close to family and host a family get together. The house was just as advertised and was perfectly sized for our family and had great amenities. The management was always responsive to our questions and made sure everything from check in to check out went smoothly. The location was perfect, close to all, yet in a quiet area with a fantastic view. We hope to return again.

We had a great time at the Villa and would rent again. Our 7 year old daughter spend the first half of our arrival day running around the property yelling "This house is amazing!!". The first impression walking through the door of the courtyard is that you have your own "compound" - it feels very private. As you explore the property you discover areas that you didn't know existed. The property is as described with incredible views of LA and spectacular sunsets. The house itself is eclectically decorated and feels like someone’s home rather than a rental. The kitchen has everything you could ever need to cook (e.g. 2 KitchenAid mixers!). The management company was very responsive and professional. There are a few constructive pieces of feedback I would give to make the Villa perfect. The house and grounds have some age on them and could use some "sprucing up". None of these items are deal breakers but all are pretty easy to fix and would make this house feel like a true luxury rental. Screens are missing from some of the windows, including bedrooms so enjoying the cool breezes lets in bugs. Both sinks in the upstairs shared bathroom have drainage issues. In the master bath one sink leaks. Shampoo/soap were not provided in all the showers. Outside there is no lighting in the back pool area beyond the pool lights themselves. Once the sun goes down it is almost dangerous to walk around given how many steps there are and how varied the terrain is. Looking around there is evidence that significant lighting was once in operation but has been neglected. Overall the grounds feel like they used to have a passionate groundskeeper who has since retired. An old wheelbarrow leans on the house near the patio and a broken railing leads to an open shed falling into disrepair just off the pool. Again, these are small things but they are right there in the back yard next to the pool where we spent most of our time. A few hours of handy-man tasks would pay dividen

Everything was extremely clean and functional. The house and view is stunning. The best property I have ever stayed at. The yard is a great selling point.

We loved this house and the grounds, everything was so beautiful. The pool and spa are gorgeous, and surprisingly deep for the size! Roomy comfortable bedrooms, plenty of bathrooms. 180 degree views of the twinkling lights of LA below, and fantastic sunsets. Really well-stocked kitchen, but if you don't feel like cooking you can take advantage of food delivery or explore Glendale's excellent Armenian eats! We loved the entryway with the Koi pond, and the little private spaces outside that are perfect for curling up with a book. You can gather in the den for movie night, or curl up on the window seat and relax with a book. I highly recommend this home, and would absolutely book it again. Kathleen was very helpful and understanding when we arrived hours after we planned to due to traffic!

We enjoyed the property tremendously. It is a beautiful, well designed home with plenty of space for everything you desire. We had room to spread out for solo time and great spaces to come together for family/group time. The decor is a lovely mix of traditional and modern giving it a posh feel. With the exception of wishing we had more guest towels and toilet paper, the house was stocked. The host was also very accessible and accommodating. We had a minor issue with heating the spa and she quickly sent a repair person to resolve the issue. Would choose this property again.

We enjoyed the area. Pasadena had a lot of good restaurants

Villa Ventanas is a magnificent home and extremely consistent with the listing description! Eloquently positioned in the center of a peninsula lot, the home provides stunning views of Burbank, Los Angeles, and the surrounding areas. Opting to rent for a business meeting (in lieu of a hotel), two colleagues and I were extremely pleased with the layout, the furnishings, and the location. The smart connections for utilities, internet, and entertainment all functioned properly without any adjustments. Most important, the beds were comfortable and provided restful sleep.
The interior boasts a variety of custom rooms while maintaining a consistent design. Without realizing, we congregated in multiple rooms and locations throughout the week. This is a testament to the welcoming nature of the home and the relaxing landscape viewable at every turn. The host (Kathleen from Vacation Living) was thorough and communicated quickly from the point of reservation, arrival, and departure. Based on her professional representation of the property and our overall experience, we highly recommend this property for business or personal travel.

A beautiful property, with stunning views and all the amenities you could want. We found the home to be comfortable, nicely appointed, with beautiful decor and a lovely landscaped yard. The pool was a delight. It really is a stunning oasis over looking Glendale and LA. The property manager was wonderful and very helpful, even offering nearby restaurant suggestions. We so enjoyed our stay and look forward to returning soon.

The home was absolutely beautiful! It has been well maintained and the outdoor area is gorgeous!
My only issue was finding out later we had to pay to heat the pool at a 3 day minimum even though we were only there for 2.5 days and didn’t use the pool the last day. I don’t remember seeing that and was a little disappointed with this seeing how much money we put into our rental already. We had a few issues heating the pool and hot tub the first day but was able to text the manager and she helped for the second day so this was working. Other than that, everything else was easy!

A group of scientists attending a conference in Glendale. The cost of the hotel was too high, so this was the (much better) option that we used. It was a great place to stay, very close to downtown, even though you felt far removed from the bustle of the city when you were there.

This home was the perfect spot for our multi-generation family gathering. The children and grandchildren spent a great deal of time laughing and talking in the pool and spa, and the evenings were filled with my husband and son playing acustic guitars and singing. The location is convenient, yet private. Would certainly book again without hesitation!

There were at various times 5-11 people staying at Casa Ventana (aptly named BTW). We enjoyed the Jacuzzi, the ample kitchen, the grand TV/entertainment room, the Sonos speakers, the comfy beds, the clean (and well stocked) bathrooms, and well everything. The weather was nice enough that we could see all the way to the Palos Verde peninsula. We were in town for a wedding and mostly ate out at wedding venues. The rest of the time we made use of the modern kitchen facilities to easily prepare meals. The grounds were well maintained and a joy to walk or lounge about. Kate was very helpful, giving us a thorough orientation. I would not hesitate to stay again when traveling to SoCal.

Where do I begin? The house is extremely clean and during this time, that is an important quality! The view is spectacular, all my questions were answered quickly and honestly and the house itself is full of charm, character and numerous books and crannies to explore. I would not hesitate renting here and hate to say that, because I really want the place available anytime I want to rent! Honestly, you would be making a smart choice staying here!

The house was perfect. A wonderful space for 5 of us. Every summer we rent a house in different locations. This was the best family vacation home of them all (and we're very choosey) Evenings by the pool watching the lights of LA and Glendale. Far enough away not to be in the crowds yet close enough to the beach and city for daytime activities.The house was wonderfully stocked with everything we could possibly need, and of very good quality. The pool, hot tub and water falls were great. We were greeted when we arrived and were kindly shown around. The place was spotless. If in the area, we would definitely return.

It was a rare moment when our east coast family could all come out at the same time to visit, so all 10 of us stayed in Villa Ventanas for close to a week. We had an itinerary planned of activities and outings in Downtown L.A., Hollywood, Pasadena, etc... -- all of which are very easy to get to from the house -- but the property was so amazing that we ended up staying in most of the time. We swam in the gorgeous pool, cooked in the incredibly well-stocked kitchen, read books and did yoga in the many little hideaways tucked around the property. The Easter bunny even managed to find us up in the hills! It was truly a wonderful experience both in the home and with the kind and professional property management employees and we wouldn't hesitate to both recommend and rent again should the opportunity arise.

Great Location & Views
Our family party of 8 including two littles enjoyed the home for a week. It is a beautiful home with wonderful views. We have used Air B&B before and this was by far the best experience. The house has everything you could ever need and the responsiveness of the host was impressive. When we struggled with the technology at the pool and hot tub she generously managed it from her phone. This meant multiple text back and fourth which never seemed to bother. On our part it was of no consequence and was fixed at first opportunity. Location was great.

We stayed in the villa for 10 days, 9 nights and had a terrific experience. The house and grounds are beautiful and view unbelievable. It felt like home. The house was well furnished and the kitchen in particular, well stocked. The trampoline was an expected plus. Though west of LA, access to the City and coast, at least by LA traffic norms, was very good. We'd recommend it.

The house was perfect for our 2 families of 4 adults and 4 kids. Spacious sleeping and living areas, and the decor was very tasteful, nice mix of original and modern touches. Fully furnished kitchen with everything we needed and much more. The kids loved the pool and hot tub, and the views were unbeatable! Not to be missed was the quick responsiveness of our hosts, who were most helpful and accommodating. Highly recommend this property without hesitation!

Do yourself a favor and rent this house! It was just the break we needed from covid and the house was spotless. We all felt very safe and used the pool and hot tub and BBQ each day of our stay. My family and I had a great week staying at Villa Ventanas in Glendale. The property was large enough for the six of us to relax and spread ourselves around in the two sitting rooms and outside patios and garden. The children were in the pool everyday and thoroughly enjoyed themselves. The views across Glendale to Downtown LA are spectacular.

Our rental experience was great! No complaints! Kate was very responsive. She met us at the property on our first day and gave a nice overview. We were close to major tourist attractions such as Universal Studios, Warner Brothers and the El Capitan Theatre. A grocery store was nearby to stock up for grilling at the property. We could not have asked for a better place to stay with family for graduation week.
